Our Early Clinical Development Department serves as the launchpad for pharmaceutical breakthroughs, where products coming out of our Japan based drug discovery groups are rigorously tested for safety and preliminary efficacy in either healthy volunteers or patients. We are an interdisciplinary team of scientists, physicians and study managers dedicated to driving advancements in drug development from their infancy to clinical fruition while creating or utilizing new technologies and algorithms to better understand disease processes and monitor responses to therapy.

In this fast-paced and ever-evolving sector, we are at the forefront of the industry, continually pushing the boundaries of science and technology to create safer, more effective treatments. Our work encompasses a spectrum of activities that start during the preclinical research phase, moves into a rigorous process of selecting promising candidates for clinical trials and ends with the conduct of Proof of Concept trials.
