The goal of the Business Development Group at Chugai Pharma USA, LLC is to acquire therapeutic products for global commercialization and technologies that support our R&D objectives. Our activities are coordinated with the Headquarters Business Development Group in Tokyo, Japan. During the short term, Chugai Pharma USA's product pipeline has been derived from our parent company's business and development activities. However, over the long term Chugai Pharma USA's commercial success will derive both from its own research and licensing activities as well as by our parent's product pipeline.
